We, the membership of I.A.T.S.E. Local 13 stand against worker displacement by ICE, and raise our voices in solidarity with M.I.R.A.C. (Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action committee) in calling for real sanctuary now.

We call upon Jacob Frey, Melvin Carter, Kaoly Her and the Minneapolis and Saint Paul City Councils to work with MIRAC to achieve their demands of no collusion, no crowd control, no cover ups, and real consequences for MPD and SPPD for colluding with ICE. We ask our elected officials and civic servants to stand in solidarity with workers and community members against the unlawful actions of ICE.

We call upon other labor organizations to join us in standing against worker displacement, and unlawful conduct from federal agents.

We call upon our employers to offer training, resources, and a plan of action to their employees so we can know our rights, and how to help protect our audiences and coworkers in the event of an ICE raid.

Our workers, our community members, and our cities deserve a unified response to the unlawful practices of ICE before their presence becomes widespread in our communities. ICE out of Minneapolis! ICE out of Saint Paul! Real Sanctuary now!
