What is this class about?
Automated entertainment equipment is becoming more prevalent while the technology controlling those machines continues to advance at a staggering rate. More and more complicated systems are arriving in venues to staffs that may not have ever had an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of automation.
Succinctly, the goal of this class is to arm the end user of these systems with the fundamentals of how these machines and systems are assembled, and why. The participants will also learn basic troubleshooting and critical safety measures to employ when interacting with automated machines.
This is not a class to learn how to run a particular automation software platform; instead this class delves into fundamentals of machine and system design that apply to all automated effects, making this class automation software agnostic.
