The following is from the MN UI website explaining the Extended Benefits program is expected to end in MN if there is no further action from Congress.
This small cut and paste below is only to make you aware, so that you will go the MN UI website and read all of the pertinent information there.
Federal benefit programs ending in December
Unless Congress passes legislation to extend these benefit programs, three programs are set to end in December 2020:
- The Federal-State Extended Benefits (EB) Program
- The Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation (PEUC) Program
- The Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) Program
Last payable week
In each of the past several recessions, Congress has acted to add 13 weeks of Extended Benefits at a time, often several times over.
