The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees Local 13 is the longest standing arts related organization in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul) metro area. Chartered in January of 1894, I.A.T.S.E. Local 13 has proudly represented the interests of the men and women working behind the scenes of area theatres for 131 years. In 1999, I.A.T.S.E. Local 13 was merged with I.
The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employes, Moving Picture Technicians, Artists and Allied Crafts of the United States, Its Territories and Canada was originally chartered by the American Federation of Labor as the National Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employes in 1893.
